摘要
The prevalence of high-throughput technologies has greatly accelerated the discovery of genes with distinct functions and their links to various diseases. Nonetheless, translating these discoveries into mechanistic insights poses a significant challenge. Here, we introduce novel bioinformatics tools tailored to streamline the interpretation of gene functions within their biological context, i.e., in specific tissue and cell types.
个人简介
Dr. Ying Zhu received her B.S. degree in Biological Science from Tsinghua University in 2008 and Ph.D. degree in Neurobiology from Yale University in 2014. From 2014 to 2017, she continued her research at Yale University, as a postdoctoral associate. From 2017 to 2019, she worked as an Associate Research Scientist in the Department of Biostatistics at Yale University. In 2019, She joined the State Key Laboratory of Medical Neurobiology and the Institutes of Brain Science, at Fudan University, as a PI. Her research interests focus on the application of computational biology in understanding the molecular basis of human brain development and evolution.
