摘要

Proteins are gears of life activities by interacting with each other. Our group is interested in developing advanced proteomics technologies to precisely quantify maximum number of proteins (in thousands) from the minimum amount of biological or clinical samples with the maximum sample throughput. We aim to apply the techniques to uncover the mathematical rules beneath proteome expression, and to assist precision medicine by clinical cohort study. Our research topics cover various aspects of mass spectrometry-based proteomics over the past 10 years, and now we are working on the human brain proteome atlas. 

个人简介

郭天南，2006年毕业于华中科技大学同济医学院临床医学七年制，同时获得武汉大学生物科学双学位。2012年获得新加坡南洋理工大学博士学位。2012-2017年在瑞士苏黎世联邦理工大学Ruedi Aebersold教授实验室从事博士后研究。2017年初在澳大利亚悉尼大学儿童医学研究所ProCan任Scientific Director，肿瘤蛋白质组Group Leader，悉尼大学医学院兼聘高级讲师。2017年8月加入西湖高等研究院（西湖大学前身）任特聘研究员。长期从事蛋白质组学相关研究，并将其应用于大量的临床样本（包括甲状腺癌、前列腺癌等），结合人工智能探索生物标志物。更多信息请参考 www.guomics.com。
